BOCA CHICA ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Beach - This is another of the excellent beach resort towns of the Dominican Republic. Boca Chica beach has a reef-protected lagoon of deep blue waters and soft white sand. There are many watersports activities on offer from scuba diving to surfing. If you're not feeling to active, you can relax on the beach and catch a tan. There are also a wide range of shops and resturants near the beach.

Museo de las Casas Reales - Calle Mercedes Esquina Las Damas, Santo Domingo. Located in the main historical square of the capital city, this museum is dedicated to the history of the Spanish discovery of the Dominican Republic and the Americas. The museum has many interesting exhibitions on display and offers many activities for children. This museum is fun for the whole family.

Colonial City - Located in Santo Domingo. This historic area covers only 3 sq km, but contains many historical sites and museums, including palaces; forts; museums; churches; parks; plazas; statues; and monuments. Calle Das Lamas is the oldest street of the New World. There are 3 hour guided walking tours on offer and they are highly recommended.

BOCA CHICA RESTAURANTS Add your favourite restaurant
Buxeda - Located near the beachfront. This is one of the best restaurants in town, serving the best choices of local seafood dishes. It is very popular with locals and tourists alike. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Neptuno's Club - T5234703, east of El Hamaca. This restaurant, built over the water with a pier, is a great place to go for lunch or supper. They serve a wide range of excellent German and English dishes, specializing in seafood. The food is great and the prices reasonable.

Casa Marina - Located near the beachfront. This restaurant has been a favourite amongst locals for many years. On the menu you'll find a wide range of local cuisine, mostly seafood dishes. The atmosphere is truly Caribbean and the staff very friendly. Great food at reasonable prices.

BOCA CHICA BARS & CLUBS Add your favourite bar & club
Madhouse - Calle Duarte. This is one of the livliest bars in town, and is frequented by a mixed group of locals and tourists. The bar has tables inside and outside, they also have a football table and dart boards. This is a great place to go if you want to have a fun night out and get away from the crowded nightlife scene in Boca Chica.

Austria - Calle Duarte. This large circular shaped bar is popular with locals and tourists. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the bar is divided into two sections, with the main bar infront. This is a great place to go and mingle with the locals and fellow tourists, while having a few drinks.

Mango's Laser Disco - Calle Duarte. This is possibly the best and most popular dance club in town, and is frequented by a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. The walls are painted with creative murals and they have a modern lighting and sound system. DJs play a range of all the latest dance hits. This is the place to go if you're looking to dance and party all night long.

BOCA CHICA BEACHES Add your favourite beach
Boca Chica Beach - This is one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic, with its soft white sand and calm water. The cove is surrounded by a giant semi-circle shaped reef that extends from end to end and protrudes out beyond the water's surface, which forms a giant natural salt-water swimming pool.

There are a wide range of watersports on offer, including paddle boats; kayaks; water skiing; and banana boat rides. If you feel a little less energetic, you can relax on the beach while soaking up some sun.
