Watersports - Bayahibe has a wide range of watersport activities on offer, including snorkeling; kayaking; sailing; pedal boats; and scuba diving. All equipment needed to take part in any of the activities are available for rent, and there are experts available to show you the ropes if you are new to the watersports.
Beaches - Bayahibe is one of the best beach resort towns of the Dominican Republic, with an array of undeveloped and secluded beaches. This is a great place to go and catch sum sun on the lovely white sand beaches, away from the other more crowded and developed resort towns.
Artists Village - Altos de Chavon, just out of town. This is a recreation of a 16th century Italian village with artisan workshops; an archeological museum; cobblestone streets; and quaint architecture. There is so much to see and do at the village, you should make a day trip out of it in order to get through everything. This village is not to be missed when in Bayahibe. |

Cafe Caribe - Located near the beachfront. This restaurant sums up all things Caribbean at its best, with great food and an amazing atmosphere. It is popular with locals and tourists alike. This is the best place to go for breakfast, Caribbean style. They serve a range of local dishes and the prices are reasonable.
Restaurante La Punta - Right on the beachfront. This is the best seafood restaurant in town and is very popular with tourists. They serve a range of the most supurb local seafood dishes, with an excellent range of Caribbean style cocktails. This is the best place to go and sample some of th local cuisine.
Big Sur - Located on the beach. This Italian restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists alike, and is a great place to go for some Italian food if you need a break from the local cuisine. They serve an excellent range of pizzas and pastas and the prices are very reasonable. |

The Blue Marlin - Located in the south of town. This is one of the most heppening nightclubs in Bayahibe and is popular with a younger crowd of tourists. They play a wide range of all the latest dance music from around the world. This is the place to go if you're looking to dance and party till the early hours of the morning.
Big Sur Discoteque - Located on the far end of the bay. This is on e of the best Caribbean style nightclubs in town and is frequented by a mixed group of locals and tourists. They play a range of Merengue, Bachata and Salsa music, both recorded and live. You can either sit back and relax or hit the dance floor. |

| Parque Nacional Del Este - Located just out of town, to the east. This park contains a maze of forests; trails; caves; and cliffs, and is home to a wide range of birdlife and signs of early Taino activity. This is a great place to take a break from the busy resort life in Bayahibe. |
