Elbow Cay – To the east of Marsh Harbour you’ll find this small island complete with the tiny village of Hope Town with it’s colourful old houses and red and white striped lighthouse. Enjoy wandering through the traffic free streets.
Wyannie Malone and the Cetacean Museums – In Hope Town these 2 small separate museums are devoted to the early settlers and local history and the Cetacean concentrates on the whales.
Man-o-War Cay – A water taxi ride from Marsh Harbour is the most conservative community around. Traditional shipbuilding and an interesting selection of shops make for an enjoyable couple of hours.
Blue Holes – Will interest the keen diver who will relish exploring these deep underground caves. Non-divers will enjoy the beautiful natural wildlife, caves and the wonderful 7-mile beach. |

Bistro Mezzomare Waterfront Restaurant and Bar – This Bistro is located in the Marsh Inn and serves well cooked meat dishes and you’ll love the pastas.
Flippers – Located at the Memorial Plaza this popular and strictly Caribbean restaurant serves some delicious local specialities in pleasant surroundings. Try the Coconut grouper for a memorable meal.
Georges Conch Salad – No prizes for guessing what this restaurant specialises in. George is a colourful character who will entertain you well at his little joint and you won’t pay the earth.
Mothers Merles Fishnet – In popular Front St you must try the Fried Chicken or Conch Fritters. Only open in the evenings, but busy and tasty food, enjoy it. |

Treasure Beach – Named after 17 Spanish treasure galleons that floundered there in the 17th century, so bring your metal detector. Enjoy 3 miles of uncrowded perfect sandy beach arching around a shallow blue water bay.
Hope Town Beach – Pristine pink and white sand beach overlooked by a candy striped lighthouse, no cars here and not much in the way of shops, but a gorgeous swimming and snorkelling azure blue sea.
Tahiti Beach – Located towards the south of Elbow Cay, this is the perfect picture postcard beach complete with swaying palm trees, white sands and warm, shallow crystal clear water.
Bakers Bay – One of the finest beaches on the Abaco Islands, unspoilt and just waiting for a Robinson Crusoe. |

Iggy Biggie – Located in the harbour offering all sorts of local arts and crafts and island style clothing.
John Bull – Operating since 1929 and a well-known duty free haven, John Bull is a unique department store selling a brilliant selection of gifts, photographic, perfumes, etc at reasonable prices.
Mangoes Boutique – At the marina look for this colourful shop stocking clothing from all around the world as well as island wear. |
