Alaa El Din Cafe – At the Sindbad Al Mashrabiya Hotel, An authentic atmosphere and traditional Egyptian fare can be enjoyed here. Daily live entertainment using old style musical instruments.
Cafe Trottoir – Conrad International Hotels lovely cafe serves hot and cold sandwiches and snacks and delicious desserts.
Bella Riviera – Opposite Shakespears Hotel, this small friendly cafe specializes in Italian Food as the name suggests. A good low budget alternative.

El Leila Wa Leila – To the south of Hurghada, this club is the main venue for Russian Shows. (Eastern European ladies dancing in various states of undress) however the club is also the top destination for traditional belly dancing.
The Dome – At the Inter Continental, is open from 10pm – 4am. Arguably the best dance floor in town, The Dome often hosts international DJs.
The Pub – At the Hilton Hurghada Hotel, This English style bar offers live entertainment every night. A good selection of drinks and snacks complete the picture. |

Bedouin’s Tents – “Come in and make me an offer!”Yes learn to haggle the Arab way at this shop that specializes in carpets and silks. Warning – DO NOT PAY THE FIRST PRICE OFFERED. Quality bargains to be had here.
Alama – Next to Waves on Sheraton Rd, Very friendly and helpful owners of this gift shop that stocks small statues, postcards, scarves etc. Next door is a papyrus shop with leather goods and jewelery
Mahmud’s Perfume Shop – The smell here is even more pungent than nearby McDonalds, bath oils and essences abound here. Interesting array of bottles, and they can even make up a special perfume just for you. |
