Our restored stone farmhouse is in central Umbria 1 1/2 hours north of Rome, outside Todi and close to Asissi, Spoleto and Perugia. At the end of a short country road,
it is close to the superstrada but peaceful and beautiful with sweeping views of the valley, a lovely pool surrouded by flower garden and olive grove. 3 Units include: Baby Buda, adorable guest cottage, Buda Due, spacious 1 bedroom 4 room apartment with two terraces and Buda Uno, a 2 floor 6 person unit, each with it's own private outdoor area. |

What a beautiful place and what a great time we've had. Sublime hilltop towns, hair-raising ridge top drives, the manic streets and heat of Rome and the tranquility of the Buda pool (for the most part, and on most days, entirely to ourselves).
We delighted in picking vegetable from Mary's garden and watched fireflies dance from the balcony at night. Our best advice to those who follow is to follow the advise of Jack & Mary! The air-conditioned bus to Rome was perfect, the recommended restaurants in the guest guide that we tried spot on. Get yourselves to the summer festivals, don't miss the smallest theatre in the world and eat as much gelato as you canyou know you'll regret it if you don't when you get back home.

A perfectly idyllic honeymoon location! True peace, tranquility and total relaxation. Great base for day tripping... highlights: Norcia and Piano Grande, Lake Trasimeno and Isola Polvese, sunsets over the hilltop towns. Breathtaking!
