The Villa-
Torre del Guado is an historical impressive stone manor house just restored and converted to a lovely farmhouse that offers spacious self catering holiday apartments for 2 to 4+ guests, with excellent facilities: ecological pool, private parking, well-tended equipped garden, mountain-bikes.
Museums, cultural sites, thermal baths, golf, tennis courts, horse-riding and nearby at a short driving distance.
The position is absolutely superb, with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside.
The location of elegant Guest House, at 28 kms from Arezzo and not far from Siena, on the edge of the Chianti wine region and of Umbria, is perfect to visit the glorious Tuscan countryside and many of central Italy's most important holiday attractions: Florence, Rome, Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Ravenna, Orvieto, Trasimeno Lake , attainable through the E45 speedway, situated only 3 kms from the villa.

this 2 level apartment with 3 rooms, occupies 78 m² . At ground floor: living room with fireplace, TV sat, 1 double sofa-bed, fully equipped kitchen corner (4 plates, gas, refrigerator, ice compartment, electric oven), dining table for 6, washing-machine. On the first floor you can find: 1 large double bedroom and 1 smaller twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, bidet, sink, WC. Single heating with counter, bedding, towels and tablecloths are provided in every apartment. A warm and welcoming atmosphere is also due to the choice of a unique pastel colour, the apricot. It sleeps 4+2.

Weekend: least two nights and only in low and it mid season.
Check-in: Saturday day from 5 pm to 7 pm; check-out: Saturday within 10,00 am.
The prices are for 4 people. For every person more it needs to add Euro 10 a day..
In the price included: water’s consumption, gas, electricity, weekly and final cleaning, weekly change of linen and towels, use of: washing-machine, swimming pool, mountains bikes and parking lot, taxes (10%).
Upon request, available daily cleaning: on payment.
Security: € 100 for apartment: the deposit will be returned on your departure.
During the booking it is in demand a down payment equal to the 30% of the whole cost of the stay by bank transfer or credit card. Final Payment at check out.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at Torre Del Guado. It was a wonderful place with great accomodation which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
There is a great pool, table tennis, volleyball and bikes for adults and children. Mattia, the owner, is always on hand to help with booking trips etc and keeps the grounds in excellent condition. She is a really lovely woman and is determined to ensure that you enjoy your stay.
We loved this holiday and will definitely be returning.

Location
The manor house sat in a very green country. Their private garden was immense which was surrounded by farms so there was plenty of privacy and tranquility. Very pretty landscape ... the estate itself was in the centre of the valley so you were in the middle of the green open space but at the same time surrounded in the distant by the Appenines and Tuscan rolling hills/hilltop towns ... kind of like being in the middle of the open theatre, absolutely charming.
The owner couple Mattia and Giuseppe lived in the same estate. They were extremely friendly, hospitable, caring, and were very helpful in giving us advice as to where to visit, where to eat, where to buy, etc. As many Italians are, they were great with our 1 year old daughter, almost as if they were her real aunt/uncle! By the time we were to leave, our normally very shy daughter would happily be taken in Mattia's arms which was just fantastic.
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?
We would definitely recommend Torre del Guado. |
