Lizard Lounge - 127 North Street. If you're hunting bargains, then be here between 20:30 and 21:30 for great drink specials. The atmosphere is also quite pleasant.
The Central - corner of Market and College Street. Although its main market is the local students it is a nice place to just hang out.
The Victoria - 1 St Mary's Plain. Once in a while they have a live band at this pub, that has elements of a Scottish pub and a Western Saloon.
