See goblets, bowls, lamps and other marvelous pieces of art formed out of sixty different types of timber, or wonder at the skill of the cabinet-maker as he creates furniture that will be around long after you or I am around. Oatlands Brasserie - Guernsey This restaurant is a hidden gem. The meals are superb and anyone loving good natural food should give the Surf and Turf a try. Succulent Steak cooked to your choice (really) and huge King Prawns. You may have to wait a while for a table during busy times, which shows how popular this place is.
Restaurant part of the Oatlands Visitor Complex and not far from Guernsey Freesias which rounds of a day visiting the St Sampson's end of Guernsey nicely.
There are bus/coach tours which take in Oatlands which can be booked from the Bus Terminal in St Peters Port for those who have not got a hire car or cycles.
Recommend Oatlands and in particular this restaurant with no hesitation at all. Marks out of 10? 11 for the meal.
