York Travel Guide
York is the place to get those gorgeous, delicate, and extremely valuable collectors items when it comes to bone china and crystal. With names like Waterford, Lalique, Wedgewood and Spode on the shelves, Mulberry Hall, a large 15th century house in Stonegate, is justly proud of its stock.
Also in Stonegate is Blackwell's with its stock of new books, or if you want to pick up some good second-hand titles take a look at Minster Gate Bookshop or snuffle around the Shambles for some excellent selections. If your fancy lies more in finding some souvenirs or gifts for the family back home, take the time to investigate the markets and craft shops in the surrounding districts.
