St. George's House - Georgeham, Braunton, this is non-profit Christian Outdoor Centre that caters to all comers, Christian or otherwise, and arranges activities such as Kayaking, Canoeing, Rock Climbing and Abseiling, Surfing, Mountain Biking, and loads more of healthy outdoor sports for children. Fully qualified staff ensures the safety of anyone in their care and beginners will be given every attention.

Survival Paintball Games - South Down Farm, Yarnscombe, Barnstaple, this organisation has been running since 1988 and offers twenty acres of woodland and state of the art equipment for its players. There is also an undercover HQ hut where combatants can enjoy free liquid refreshment throughout the day, or buy hot or cold snacks from the 'tuck ship'.

Clotted Cream and Cider must surely be Devon's most famous products, and it is no wonder they are such laid-back crowd. Traditional Devon 'scrumpy' is farm cider made from the windfall apples that were bruised and unfit for cooking or eating, but perfect for fermenting and making cider.
