Turgutreis Travel Guide
Light House - It was built in 1931 by the French, in the Kemer district. There is a beautiful large beach at the foot of the light house that was once covered in berries and black woods.
Waterskiing - If you are a outdoors kind of person you will enjoy nothing more than waterskiing by the long curved beach. The beach is ideal for watersports, also available for entertainment is windsurfing, parasailing and dingy-hiring.
Wind Surfing - Turgutreis is the ideal place for wind surfing, with its strong winds and currents it creates challenging and unpredictable conditions - a windsurfers paradise!
The Underwater Archeological Museum of Bodrum - Located in the Bodrum Castle it is one of the world's most important and biggest museums. On display are relics recovered from excavation in the 1960's as well as findings resulting from research on sunken ships. You can also find a display of the remains of the oldest known sunken ship in the world, which is definitely worth it to see.

Brothers Bar well well....my friend and I went to brothers bar 4 nites in a row, what does it tell you?? It's good, the guys are crazy and very cheeky. They know what the guests need!! Have to see for yourself, it's cool.

Tash's Bar This bar is really good fun! If you feel like you want a good laugh you can have one here. If you want to dance this is the best place to dance on bar street. If you want to have a good time definitely try this bar!!!

Brothers Bar This is one of the best bars in Turgutreis by far! The staff are all really lively and energetic and are always putting on some sort of performance (dancing/fireworks/singing)!!! You definitely have to visit it!

La Pikant A very nice restaurant! On the sea front so you get the sea breeze and the beautiful view of the sunset. It has excellent food! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

Cool Breeze I am afraid the Cool Breeze has gone down hill very much. The people are still ok but the food is just very bad. Not cooked or over cooked and I am sure that some of the food is not too fresh. I would avoid this place unless you whant to be ill for your holiday.

Klass Bar Welcoming and Intimate a lovely place to spend the evening. Ali and Dino are great company. We have spent many hours in the bar and have enjoyed every minute.

Can Restaurant For the best steak that you will EVER eat, a visit to this restaurant is a MUST. It is situated amongst the shops and bars of the old town, and you are made extremely welcome.

Sunset House Restaurant It has a ultimate romantic atmosphere. Remember to leave some space for their unique and well known Kunefe, a sweet with cheese. A wonderful place to eat and the staff are so friendly and helpful a good time was had whenever we visited SUNSET HOUSE RESTAURANT. The food is great.Good food and great company.

The Codfather Fish&Chips Restaurant The best fish and chips that I've ever had.
Restaurant is spotless. Staff are great, food is delicious. Do not give a miss. Mehmet has done good job There. Good service and quality guaranteed. Pls try it. Proper cod and chips with mushy peas full English breakfast to die for. Located in the small peaceful village of Torba, situated 5 km from Bodrum, you will find the most extravagant beaches where the shining sea connects with the green pines and olive trees.
Another definite must see is Gumupluk. One of the oldest settlements of the Peninsula, it is still possible to see the underwater remains of the old harbour wall that connected Tafpan Island to the mainland. Enjoying sun-downers here amist the extraordinary green vegetation will be a life-long memory.

Secret Garden - Located in Bodrum, 20km from Turgutreis. It has a ultimate romantic atmosphere and is located up the small street opposite the Marina. Expect to find Modern Mediterannean style dishes, both beautiful and colourful and which is often very original and always delicious. The menu features treats such as frogs legs in garlic sauce, hot tomato tarts, rabbit in cream, sea bass in vanilla butter and chicken liver and brandy pate.
Denizhan - Situated on the outskirts of the town of Bodrum. Upon entering you will be greeted with a Lavash ( Turkish balloon bread ), delicious starters and the best grilled meat. Remember to leave some space for their unique and well known Kunefe, a sweet with cheese.
Epsilon - A restaurant owned by a Dutch lady, serving the most delicious lamb dishes. It is a quiet, civilized place that serves traditional Aegean cuisine, with beautiful art exhibitions that add to the enjoyable atmosphere.
Turgutreis Bars & Clubs
Tropic Restaurant Bar - located in the town of Bodrum, 20km from Turgutreis. For the latest music, funky atmosphere and very friendly staff - this is the place to go. They also offer snacks, coffee, Turkish apple tea and a three course meal. It is also a great place for children as it offers them exciting activities as well.
Fora bar - Situated on the beach, this is one of the most popular bars with its breathtaking views of the sea and castle. Expect to hear the lastes tunes as well as some great live music.
The White House - Located on bar street, it is an excellent place to either chill out outside or dance the night away.
Sensy Bar - The funkiest place on Bar Street. It offers the most outrageous coctails and you will be blown away by the friendly staff.
