one of the best traditional restaurant in bitez The Seaside Restaurant is located in the center of Bitez at the boulevard left from the mosque. It's a lovely restaurant with a good turkish traditional and international menu. The staff is very friendly and the atmosfere is romantic. For the kids they have also a good menu. After a day at the beach this is the place wehere you had tot go for dinner. But if you like a full english breakfast with SKY TV and sports this is also the place to be. The breakfast is better then home. After your dinner you lounge on the beach with a nice cocktail or coffee. A few years ago we go there for the first time and still we go there every year. For us it's feel like home.

C.J.'s Bitez This restaurant is along the seafront, previously known as Ali's. It was reopened for 2008 season. A great place to eat, food is excellent quality, the same type of european menue as most along the front, but the quality is great, all the staff have a great sense of humour, and it is a great place to while away the hours. they also have sunlongers on the beach so you can spend the whole day there if you wish.

Ozer's Restaurant Located on the Bitez beach front near the Mosque. A fantastic, hassle free restaurant that prides itself on fresh ingrediants. No menu here, just walk up to the cold counter with your waiter who will show you the dishes available (eg. freshly prepared hot and cold mezes, kebabs, meat dishes and a variety of fish and seafood caught that day - seabass, sea-bream, red bream etc). A more classy feel than the larger restaurants. Also lovely attentive service during the day with sun beds spaced more generously than most places.

Amphora Restaurant From the Mosque follow the lane away from the seafront and then follow the road around to the right and you will come upon Amphora. An authentic Turkish restaurant with a warm, hospitable feel. Unlike the larger restaurants on the beach front that offer many different cuisines, Amphora's focus is on doing Turkish food and doing it well. Owner Daniel is a lovely, friendly host who ensures that his guests are well looked after. Particular highlight is the Amphora Kebab presented to your table in a flaming clay pot which is then broken and served. Yum!!

'FIRST STOP'....Restaurant... ....in Bodrum is a must eat! Omar & staff are EXCEPTIONAL, EXCELLENT food and service. Don't ask the police officer nor a taxi driver for directions, it seem not many locals understand 'First Stop' restaurant. After walking the main pedestrian small road going east, finally there it was across the rocky beach. The rest is history. Thank you for the good times, food and your talent!!!!! Grazie Omar, we'll be back soon Ciao! Tony & The Photo-Team from Germany. A OTTO GROUP

The First Stop Chris and his staff have made our holidays the best we have had. Not only is the food great all the time, but he and his team make you feel part of the family. The other person to name is Memet, who runs the local boat hire. They all make your day. Simply the best.

Jimmy's Restaurant On the beach near the mosque, so friendly, great choice of menu, food is fantastic. We ate there most nights, never disappointed. Try the sizzling or clay pot kebab! My husband is Turkish and even he was impressed with the authenticity of the traditional Turkish dishes. Don't miss it.

Bitez Shopping

Minimarket - Located on the beachfront. The market is open everyday of the week. You can find everything from fresh fruit and vegetables and fastfood (hamburgers, hotdogs and pies) to a lot of little souvenir stalls. For tourists this would be the best place to go shopping for souvenirs, as the town lacks even the simplest tourist shops.

Bitez Beaches

The main beach in Bitez is the center of activiy. Whether you enjoy just soaking up the sun with a good book, or want to join in a game of beach volleyball, you will be captivated by the friendly atmosphere. There are many small cafe's located on the beach front, so you will never be left with a dry mouth.

Located in the small peaceful village of Torba, situated 5 km from Bodrum, you will find the most extravagant beaches where the shining sea connects with the green pines and olive trees.

Another definite must see is Gumupluk. One of the oldest settlements of the Peninsula, it is still possible to see the underwater remains of the old harbour wall that connected Tafpan Island to the mainland. Enjoying sun-downers here amist the extraordinary green vegetation will be a life-long memory.
