General information
Villars has a number of non-ski attractions, a good place to start sightseeing is to visit one of themuseums in the area, such as Musee Suisse du Jeu, which is the Swiss museum of games and is housed in a beautiful castle. ] Other museums worth checking out include the Salt Mines Museum and the Musee du Chemin de fer de Blonay-Chamby. There are also a couple of beautiful old castles that should not be missed, they are Chateau de Chillon and Le chateau d'Aigle.

Apres-ski
Villars Apres Ski scene has quite a bit of non-ski activities on offer, including a bowling alley; a sports centre; a gym; a swimming pool; and a sauna. The nightlife in Villars is a little limited, with only a handfull of bars and clubs, but the parties are always rocking. There are a number of shops that sell a wide variety of goods, as well as offer equipment rentals. A number of excellent restaurants are also in town, which serve a wide range of traditional and international cuisine.
Overview
Villars is linked to Les Diablerets, and its signature feature is its mountain railway that links Villars with Bex and Bretaye. The majority of the runs are best suited for beginners and intermediates, with only a small number of off-pistes for available for experts. Snow boarders will love the 2 boarding parks, as well as the off-piste found at the glacier The town also has a good ski school that caters for people of all ages. Villars is more modern that Les Diablerets, but still retains soome of its picturesque charm. The Apres Ski scene is quite lively, with a good nightlife scene and a number of non-ski activities on offer.
