Overview
Murren has been a favourite skiing destinations since it was developed in the 1920s, with its amazing views into Germany; France; and Italy. The majority of the skiing is best suited for beginners, with a few ggreat spots for intermediates. Expert skiers do have some great black runs from the Schilthorn and excellent off-piste at Blumental. The Apres Ski scene is very quiet, with a limited nightlife scene which does hot up over the weekends. There aren't too many non-skiing activities available in Murren, but it is one of the more laid back destinations in the Alps which makes it a great place for a relaxing skiing holiday.
