Flims Ski Information
If you feel like taking a breather from all the skiing, Flims-Laax has a number of non-skiing activities on offer. For a cultural sightseeing experience go to St Gallus and Othmar Church; St Martin Church; and St Josef Church these are three of the most beautiful churches around. There are also a couple of excellent art galleries, Gallery Eule Art and Gallery Marika de Martinis. For somethign a little different you can take a hot air balloon sightseeing trip, which is highly recommended.

Flims-Laax is fairly low key, but there is still quite a lively Apres Ski scene. There is an excellent sports centre and gym; an ice rink ; a swimming pool; and a sauna The nightlife is a little limited, with a few nightclubs and a number of bars, but there is still alsways a great party to be had There are a wide range of restaurants in Flims-Laax, and they serve a a good selection of local and international cuisine. There are also a number of activities for children, to keep them busy.
Flims-Laax is not mentioned in many brochures, but it has a whole lot that makes it well worth a visit. There are over 200km of varied pistes in 3 linked areas, which are easily accessable by an excellent lift system. Most of the runs or best suited for beginners and intermediates, but experts can choose the World Cup course or and excellent black run off the summit of Cassons. Snow boarders love Flims-Laax, with 2 parks and 4 half-pipes as well as some great off-piste to have fun on. The town of Flims consists of 2 villages, Dorf and Waldhaus, and Laax is 5km away. There is an excellent bus system that runs between these places. Flim-Laax has a more low-key Apres Ski scene, with a limited nightlife scene. There are also a number of none skiing activities on offer, for those who need a break from skiing.
