Overview

Anzere is one of the most beautiful chalet villages and is situated on the right bank of the Rhone Alps. It was built in the 1960s and has amazing views of the peaks of the Valais Alps and Mont Blanc. Anzere has 40km of runs that are served by 11 lifts. The majority of the runs are perfect for intermediates, while there are only 3km of easy runs for beginners. Terrain for experts is also limited, but there are some excellent off-piste areas. One of the top attractions is the heli-skiing on the Wildhorn Glacier at an elevation of 3247m. The Apres Ski scene is quite fun and lively when the resort is packed with holiday makers, although the choices are a little limited.
