Whelan´s Bar & Restaurant - I visited this restaurant one morning on my way to the beautiful beach at la Carihuela. The breakfast I received was truly excellent and really set me up for a morning of relaxed sunbathing. I have visited Spain regularly for a number of years yet I have never tasted tea quite like they serve at Whelan´s. I will return ....

Aqua Park - Calle Cuba 10. This is a great place to take the children for a fun day out in the sun. The Aqua Park has a number of rides on offer, including the Black Hole; the Niagra; the Twister, as well as a wave pool; jacuzzi; a tropical lagoon; and infant's park; sea lion shows; and mini golf. There is also a pizzeria and a self service restaurant located on the premises.
Crocodile Park - Calle Cuba 14. This is another great place to take the children for a fun day out. the park has 300 crocodiles from 12 different species on show. There is also a crocodile museum; the Croco's nursery; a mini zoo; and a playground. The park also has a restaurant and an African shop.

Casa Juan - Calle san Jines 18-20. This is one of the beast seafood restaurants in town, and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. It is a great place to go for lunch or dinner. They serve a wide range of seafood with a traditional regional flavour. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.
El Gato Viudo - La Nogalera 11. This old fashioned restaurant has been very popular with the locals for the last 40 years, and recently with tourists to the city. They serve a wide range of local and Spanish dishes, including calamari with spicy tomato sauce and a range of delicious meat dishes. The food is great, service excellent and the prices are reasonable.
Mar de Alboran - Alay 5. This elegant restaurant is one of the best in town, and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They serve a wide range of dishes from Andalusia and the Basque region of Spain. Some of the house specialities include kokotxas; hake cheeks in green sauce with clams; and anglerfish with prawns.

Bar Central Plaza Andalucia, Bloque 1. This is one of the best bars in town, and is frequented by a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. This is a great place for a slightly more relaxed evening out, chilling out while sipping on some of the best cocktails around, and meeting some new people.
El Palladium Palma de Mallorca. This is possibly the best dance clubs in town, and it is very popular with a younger crowd of locals. This is the place to go if you want to dance and party all night long. DJs play a range of the latest dance music to keeo the party pumping till the early hours of the morning.
Casino Torrequebrada Carretera de Cadiz Benalmadena-Costa. Located in the lower level of the Hotel Torrequebrada, this is the place to go if you're feeling lucky and want to strike it rich. The casino offers a wide range of games, from slot machines to roulette to wheel of fortune. There is also a night club in the casino, which is one of the best flamenco clubs in town.
