Los Cancajos - Although the black lava sand at this beach may be a little surprising, the beach and waters are incredibly clean. If fact this beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag for cleanliness. Facilities include changing cubicles, toilets and first-aid posts.
Piscinas La Fajana - For something different from the normal day at the beach, try taking a swim in or sunbathing by one of many natural rock pools known as Piscinas La Fajana. These can be found near Barlovento in the north of the island.
