Moving Around Netherlands
Schiphol International airport is the primary Dutch destination for most major airlines; some smaller feeder or regional airlines may use other airports around the country. The rail network around the Netherlands is outstanding and is the best way to travel. Most stations have a bus terminal near by. The road network is also first class; be sure to plan your route, as most signs will be in Dutch.
National festival and holidays
The North Sea Jazz Festival The Hague is not the most exciting Dutch city, but once a year it gets its own back. The North Sea Jazz Festival, held every July, attracts top-flight musicians, and is well worth making a special effort to get to.
