Museum Correale di Terranova - Via Correale 48, Sorrento. This museum houses exhibitions dedicated to the history of the region and Sorrento, and the purest craft tradition of inlaid wood. There are many interesting and informative displays throughout the museum. The museum is open everyday from 9h00 to 14h00, except on Tuesdays and public holidays.

Archaeological Museum of Sorrento Peninsula - Via Ripa di Cassano. This is one of the top attractions in Sorrento, near Sant Agnello, and it houses a range of interesting exhibitions dealing with the history of Sorrento and the surrounding peninsula. This is a great place to start off sightseeing in the town as you'll get to know all the history about Sorrento and the surrounding peninsula.

Antiquarium Aequano - Located at the Palazzo Comunale, in Sorrento. This museum contains a collection of archaeological findings that date back to Etruscan; Greek; and Italic times, from the 7th to the 3rd century B.C. Sant Agnello Beaches

Lido Mazzaro - This is the best equiped beach in Sicily and is also one of the finest. It is very popular from April to October, during summer. You can take a 15 minute cable car ride down from Taormina onto the the beach. There are many bars; restaurants; and shops bordering the beach, catering to almost anything you could desire.

Aurora - Piazza Tasso 10/11. This cozy and pleasant restaurant is situated in the historical centre of Sorrento. It is very popular with both locals and tourists. They serve a wide range of local dishes, specializing in pizza and serving over 50 different varieties. The food is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable.

Ristorante Caruso - Via S. Antonino 12. This is one of the top restaurants in town and is very popular with tourists. Inside is a minimuseum dedicated to the famous tenor Enrico Caruso. They serve a a range of local dishes and have an excellent selection of local and Italian wines.

'O Canonico 1898 - Piazza Tasso 7. This traditional restaurant has been a firm favourite with locals for many years. This is the place to go to sample some tradtitional home cooking of the region.
