There are a few attractions near San Cassiano, a good place to start off sightseeing is at the Pic' Museo Ladin, which houses a number of exhibits about the history of the Val Badia region. There are also a number of waking trails, which take you through the beautiful landscape surrounding the resort. For the more adventurous, paragliding offers a unique perspective of the resort and scenery.

Apres-ski
Apres Ski in San Cassiano is fairly quiet, with a limited nightlife. There are only a few bars that offer venues for a fun night out after a day's skiing. The resort also has a number of shops, which sell a wide variety of goods and also offer equipment for hire. A few restaurants are situated in the resort, and they serve a range of traditional and Italian cuisine. Other facilities on offer include a sports centre; a swimming pool; and an ice rink.
Overview
San Cassiano is a small picturesque village in the Alta Badia ski area, and has links to the Sella Ronda circuit. It is frequented by the more affluent Italian families and other classy clientele. It's a quiet resort, with a limited Apres Ski and nightlife scene. It is predominantly a family oriented resort, and is great for family holidays. The majority of the runs are best suited for beginners and intermediates. Experts will have to travel to Arabba for some good black runs and off-pistes.
