Cascata Verone - Located just out of town. This 100m waterfall is one of the most amazing sights in the area and is not to be missed when visiting the town. There are hiking trails available in the waterfall area, so you can wander around taking in the beauty of the natural landscape.
Windsurfing - Riva del Garda is one of the most popular places in Italy for windsurfing. The town caters to every windsurfers needs, there is windsurfing equipment for hire and windsurfing schools to teach the newcommers.
Dolomites - These are one of the most fascinating sights found in the Lake Garda region, the mountains are found just out of town and it is well worth the trip.There are guided tours on offer that take tourists up the mountain to all the amazing viewing locations found at the top of the various peaks.
Le Servite Situated in a small village (San Giorgio di Arco) 5 mins drive north of Riva, "Osteria Le Servite" was a great find and away from the traditional tourist restaurants. Overlooking the vineyards, the food was outstanding and the option of a different wine from the region with each course added to the dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Riva del Garda Shopping
There is a large open-air market that comes to town on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month, which is the best on Lake Garda. It sprawls along Viale Dante; Via Prati; and Via Pilati. At the market you can buy almost anything, from alpine handcrafts to busts of Mussolini. This market is not to be missed when in Riva del Garda.

Leon d'Oro - Via Fiume 26. This is one of the top restaurants in town and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They serve a range of traditional Trentino dishes, including strangolapreti which is the house special. This is a great place to sample some of the local cuisine at its best.
Bella Napoli - Via de Fabbri 34. This restaurant is the place to go if you're looking for some of the best wood fired pizzas in town. They have a wide variety of local and Italian pizzas on offer and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists.
La Montanara - Via Montanara 18. This trattoria, found in the hotel, is very popular with tourists. They serve a wide range of local and regional dishes, with an excellent selection of Italian wines. This is a great place to go for a memorable dining experience.

Disco Bar Cafe Latino - Via Monte d'Oro 14. This night club is one of the most popular in town and is frequented by a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. This club is a great place for a more relaxed evening out, having a few drinks and dancing to some Latin music.
Tiffany - Giardini Porta Orientale. This is one of the best dance clubs in town and is very popular with a younger crowd of locals and tourists. DJs play a range of all the latest dance music from around the world. This is the place to go if you're looking to dance till the early hours of the morning.
