Champoluc Ski Information
Champoluc has a few nearby attractions that are worth checking out when you feel like taking a break from skiing. A good place to start off sightseeing is the Museum of Sacred Art, which houses many old and interesting works relating to religion. Another place worth visiting is the Church of Antagnod. You can also head off to Aosta, which has the Arch of Augustus which dates back to 24 B.C. when the Romans founded the town; and the ruins of a Roman theatre that date back to the 1st century B.C.

Apres Ski in Champoluc is quite lively, the nightlife is mostly limited to bars and hotels, with only one nightclub offering a great party especially over the weekends The resort also has a number of excellent restaurants that serve a range of traditional and Italian cuisine Other facilities on offer include a sports centre; and an ice rink.
Champoluc is situated in the Aosta Valley and is part of the Monte Rosa ski area, which has a combined total of 200km of runs. The resort is generally quiet and uncrowded, except during the first week of January when half of Turin heads off to the resort. The majority of the runs are best suited for intermediates, with a few good runs for beginners. Experts have a few good off-pistes to choose from, but some travelling is required to get to the really good stuff. Champoluc is a beautiful traditional Italian resort with some amazing scenery, and good Apres Ski. This is a great place to take the whole family for an unforgettable skiing holiday.
