There are a number of other attractions near Cavalese. A good place to start off sightseeing is at the Contemporary Art Centre, which houses a number of excellent exhibitions of local works of art. There are also a number of beautiful churches worth visitng, including Church of Mary the Assumption; Church of Saint Sebastian; Church of the Holy Trinity; and Church of the Seven Sorrows of Mary.

Cavalese has a quiet Apres Ski scene, with only one nightclub and a few bars that provide a few good venues for a fun night out after a day's skiing. There are a few excellent restaurants, which serve a wide range of traditional and Italian cuisine Other facitlities on offer include a sports centre; a swimming pool; and ice rink; as well as saunas and hot tubs.


Cavalese is part of the Val di Fiemme ski area, which consists of 11 small resorts. The resort is situated by the Alpe Cermis and offers 70km of slopes, and is linked to a combuined total of 150km of runs. The majority of the runs are best suited for intermediates, while beginners will have to take a bus to some of the other linked resorts. There are also a number of excellent off-pistes for experts. This a great place for cross country skiers, with over 150km of trails to explore. The Apres SKi in Cavalese is a little on the quiet side, but it offers accomodation and restaurants to suit all budgets. This is a great place to use a base for exploring the Val di Fiemme ski area.
