Alagna Valsesia Ski Information
Alagna Valsesia has a few other attractions for those who want to take a break from skiing. One of the top attractions is the Walser Museum, which exhibits the history of the Walser colony, who came from Germany to settle in the Italian Alps. Another sight worth checking out is the Ecomuseum of Valsesia that houses exhibitions about the resort and the entire region, this is recommended for all first time visitors to Alagna Valsesia.

Alagna Valsesia has a very quiet and limited Apre Ski scene. The resort has only a handfull of bars, that offer after hours entertainment, the rest of the nightlife is all hotel based There are also a couple of shope, which sell a range of prducts and also offer equipment for hire. A few restaurants are located in the resort, which serve a range of excellent traditional and Italian cuisine.
Alagna Valsesia is a beautiful picturesque village, and has been described as the 'Gem of the Alps'. This is mostly due to the excellent off-pistes found here. There are a limited number of on-pistes that are best suited for beginners and intermediates. Experts can choose from some of the best off-pistes in the whole area, as well as some great powder runs. The resort itself is very quiet, with limited Apres Ski and nightlife. This is the place to go if you want to get serious about your skiing, without any distractions.
