Mykonos Beaches

Paradise Of the plethora of island beaches this is probably the best known and still popular.' Discovered' and named by the hippies in the 60s this clothing optional beautiful stretch has plenty of cafes and shops and camping is available.

Ornos Beach A sheltered bay protects this lovely beach at the town of Ornos. Safe shallow waters and proximity to the village makes this a beach where no nudes is good nudes.

Kalafatis Beach Reached by a bus ride from the capital, this long sandy beach is a favourite with windsurfers due to the offshore breeze. A variety of water sports are available here.

Elia Beach South of the island you will find this beach which is a short bus ride from town. Thatched beach umbrellas and loungers backed by large expanse of golden sand. There is a water park here for the kids and the nude areas are separate.

Paradise Restaurant On the beach with the same name you will find this establishment serving Greek and international dishes. A large selection at this shady spot by the beach, vegetarians will adore the organically grown fresh produce.

Dynasty Thai Chinese Restaurant Near the cinema in town, if you feel the need of a change from Greek food then look no further than this Asian restaurant. All the favourite Chinese food available here well cooked and tasty.

Agios Ioannis Restaurant Relaxed, rambling restaurant on the beach has a separate traditional Greek tavern with decor from local craftsmen. Nurse your hangover with a breakfast consisting of delicious Greek yoghurt, or try fresh fish at the tavern.

Down Under Bar Even if you're not an Aussie you will still be served here and you might even get a g-day! Opened in 1971, so it's very well established. Friendly bar with a huge selection of beverages and always good music.

Mad Club On the waterfront, you will immerse yourself in the headbanging techno and cool jungle decor. Starts late and goes through to dawn.

Marco Polo Club Situated near Ornos beach about 2 km from town, this club is more of an authentic Greek experience. Marco polo is a one-stop shop for night owls with its restaurant, taverna and Internet cafe. After you've eaten dance away the kilos at this club.

Caprice Bar Find this cheerful bar at Little Venice to relax after a tough day obtaining a tan and watch the sunset with good company and good music.
