Agio Georgios About 30 km south of Corfu Town, lies one of the islands most beautiful beaches of about 5 km of pristine sand surrounded by green hills and as yet unspoilt.
Glyfada A popular family beach 16 km west of the capital, this beach has plenty of facilities and perfect for swimming and snorkelers will discover the rock formations in the sea.
Palaiokastritsa A lovely village 26 km North West of Corfu Town you will find 6 separate villages here all with stunning scenery and surrounded by forests of olive trees. Plenty of shady tavernas for a cool drink or snack.

Art Cafe Set in the gardens behind the palace and popular with youngsters, but not loud. Relax with a coffee and pastry in the shade. Reasonable prices.
Restaurant Rex Kapodistriou 66, Well known as being one of the best on the island. A tad pricey, but worth splashing out once in a while for the mouth watering Greek specialties.
