Langolo - Centrally situated at Augustinerstrasse 8, This Italian trattoria is a popular hang out and serves the usual Italian fare at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is informal and the service and quality of food is excellent.
Geberts Weinstuben - Situated in one of the oldest buildings in Mainz centre at Frauenlobstrasse 94. Serving healthy portions of local food in a simple and unique place. This restaurant is popular just for the food and customers would probably come even if they through it at them.
Weinstube Losch - Located in the central area at Jakobsbergstrasse 9 and featuring plenty of Rhineland specialities in the olde worlde atmosphere. The restaurant is small with only 12 tables, so get here early for a treat for your tastebuds. The tables spill out in the summer.
