Apres-ski
There is life here after the slopes shut, but it is not over exiting. A great place to socialise with new friends that you've bumped into while skiing or swapping stories of your first time on the piste. The cinema is a good bet for the film buff and all the latest releases are shown in the evening. All the night time action centres around Bourg Morel street with a fine choice of French country cooking using the local produce. The bars are also in the area and some are quiet and others are quieter. But if you want more from your night then the Les Nuits Blanches disco is a must, with two separate areas named Le Before and Le After. To find out what you will have to attend!
Overview
Valmorel is located in the Grande Domaine and consists of a few small villages at various levels. With 165km of pistes there is great variety in the ski terrain. Learners are well catered for and the ski schools are popular. There are also challenges for the competent skier, but apart from the good off piste there is not an awful lot for the expert. The snowboard park is a hit and other snow sports such as Telemark, snow shoeing, cross country and the ever popular Sleigh Rides are enjoyed. The resort has excellent child care facilities, some nice little shops and a quiet apres ski life. A good choice for the family and first timers. The resorts low altitude means that the season end could be a wee bit sparse snow wise.

Le Petit Prince The food here was lovely! In a week we went back three times, I would recommend it to anyone, the price is a bit higher, but it is well worth the money! But be sure to book as its a very popular restaurant.
