Pamporovo Ski Information
Trips to the Stoykite village and the picturesque rocks of Orpheus can be fun. You can also visits the ancient town of Chepelare and the only Speleological Museum in Bulgaria, Smolyan and the Shiroka Laka architectural, ethnographic and folklore preserve. Located on the right bank of the Chepelare river, very close to Pamporovo, is the Bachkovo Monastery which also offers a museum with a rich exhibition of church plate, icons, books and much more. The village that surrounds the monastery offers lots of shops, restaurants and cafes.

After a long day skiing, you can enjoy a drink or meal at any restaurant or day bars the resort and other hotels nearby have to offer. You can also do some shopping at the resort, which has a large number of shops. Medical and dental services are available at the resort as well as a service of ambulance and a clinic with doctors and nurses. Pharmacies and an emergency Ski Patrol are available 24 hours.
With a impressive scenery and great hospitality, this skiing resort is the most southern in Europe. It offers sunny days with wonderful snow on its mountains throughout the whole season. Suitable for beginners but also for skiing experts who will enjoy the difficult ski runs like the giant Slalom run. All ski runs are safe guarded and maintained in a very good condition, they are even appropriated for children but if you rather not take chances there is also available a ski-kindergarden for them. There are highly qualified ski instructors and local guides for those who decide to go off-piste. The resort offers everything you need but its very basic, probably why its consider a good place for beginners because of its cheap prices but still its an excellent place for experience skiers who will have a great time flying down the slopes.
