General information

The town of Innsbruck offers visitors a great selection of activities, should they wish to take a break from skiing. The Hofburg Palace is an excellent place to start off a day of sightseeing. The palace was originally built during the 15th century and after being destroyed, it was rebuilt in true baroque-style architecture during the 18th century. Another place which is well worth a visit is Swarovski Kristallwelten, which consists of a magical Kingdom of Crystal. The fantasy world was opened in 1995 and consists of exciting crystalline works of art accompanied by entertaining 3D light shows. A wonderful place of entertainment for the entire family.

Apres-ski

The Apre Ski scene offers a large range of activities to keep the apres skiers entertained. There is a large casino and a bowling alley with arcade games to ensure enough entertainment for the entire family. The resort is equipped with a fitness center with saunas and hot tubs. There is also a large indoor swimming pool and a heated outdoor pool. The resort also features a couple of bars and clubs, as well as an extensive range of restaurants. Also available for entertainment is an ice rink, plenty of shops and beautiful walking trails.

The Seefeld ski village is situated in Austria's largest nature reserve. The resort features 19 slopes, which cater mainly for beginners and intermediates. The park also features a well equipped boarding park and a halfpipe which caters well for snowboarders The park offers 240km of cross-country skiing terrain and loads of entertainment for those who wish to take a break from skiing. The apre ski scene features a large casino, a bowling alley, a cinema and many other interesting activities.
