Pitztal Glacier Ski Information
The Pitzal Glacier resort is situated South of the nearest town of Imst. There is a good selection of attractions and activities available for those who wish to take a break from skiing. Antoniusbrunnen Fountain is an excellent place to start off a day of sightseeing. The fountain features a statue of a monk carrying baby Jesus. The statue dates back to the 19th century and was built by Josef Alois Baldauf. The Church in the Capuchine monastery is another site well worth a visit. The church was originally built in 1680 and was reconstructed and rebuilt in 1825 after being destroyed by a fire. The church is home to the most beautiful paintings and crucifixes.
