Lech Ski Information
The town of Lech offers only a limited amount of entertainment for those who wish to take a break from skiing. A worth while sight to visit is the Pfarrkirche, a Parish church which was built in the 14th century. In addition to this, there are a couple of excellent dining spots in the village, such as Bauernstube restaurant which offers a delicious selection of traditional Austrian cuisine.

The Apre Ski scene is pretty well equipped, offering visitors a great selection of entertainment and activities. There is a large selection of shops, bar and clubs, as well as an extensive range of restaurants offering everything from traditional Austrian- to delicious international cuisine. Activities available for entertainment includes snowshoeing, sleigh rides and ice skating The resort also features a gym and fitness center, as well as an indoor and heated outdoor swimming pool. There is also a bowling alley and a cinema which offer loads of entertainment for both young and old. The resort is home to beautiful walking trails just waiting to be explored and also offers visitors paragliding and hand gliding facilities.
The Lech Ski resort has become one of the most popular snowy playgrounds of the rich and famous, including the Royal Family. The resort is home to the most beautiful sunny slopes with an excellent snow record. It offers a total of 55 slopes, best suited for intermediates with loads of tree-lined runs. There is also an excellent ski school which is perfect for beginners and children. The resort also caters for snowboarders with a specialised boarding park, as well as a halfpipe. The Apre ski scene offers a great selection of activities and entertainment, such as restaurants, shops, bars and clubs.
