Alpenzoo - Weiherburggasse 37. This zoo is a great place to take the children for a fun day out, located on the Hungerburg plateau with amazing views of Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains. Botanischer Garten - Sternwartestrasse 15. The botanical garden is another great place to take the children to have some fun amongst nature, while learning something at the same time. The botanical garden contains a wide variety of indigenous plants to the Alps. There are many paths to wander along while learning about the different plants found in the Alps.

Hirschen-Stuben - Kiebachgasse 5. This charming restaurant is housed in an old house that dates back to 1631. Inside you'll find see hand-chiseled stone columns and brocade chairs. The restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike, and has been for many years. They serve a wide range of Austrian; German; and Swiss dishes.

Restaurant Ottoburg - Herzog-Friedrich-Strasse 1. This historic restaurant was established in 1745 and is housed in a 13th century building that is possibly the oldest in Innsbruck. The restaurant has four intimate dining rooms filled with 19th century neo-gothic decor. They serve a wide range of Austrian; German; and Swiss food. There is also a beer garden at the back of the restaurant, which is open daily.

Weisses Roessl - Kiebachgasse 8. This long standing favourite amongst the locals, dating back to 1590, is found on one of the most famous streets in the Old Town. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Austrian; German; and Swiss dishes, including Tiroler Gruestl; Saftgoulash; and many kinds of schnitzels.

Treibhaus - Angerzellgasse 8. This is one of the most popular places with the ounger locals. It offers a range of opportunities, with a daytime cafe and concert hall and dance club by night. This is the perfect place to go if you're looking to relax and have a few drinks or party till the early hours of the morning.

Blue Chip - Wilhelm-Greil-Strasse 17. This is one of Innsbruck's best and most popular dance clubs, and it is very popular with a mixed group of locals. The club has two bars and a pumping dance floor. DJs play a range of funk; soul; black beat; and dance music to keep the party going all night long.

Jackpot Bar - Salurner Strasse 15. This lively bar is very popular with locals and tourists alike. It is a great place to sit back and have a few drinks, while meeting some new people.
