Our lovely waterfront cottage is for those seeking to escape the hectic pace of the Outer Banks beaches, but who wish to be close enough to spend a day on the sand, shopping or enjoying other entertainment.
Ideally located to explore many of the natural and historic areas around the Albemarle Sound, like Somerset Place and Hope Plantions, Lake Mattamuskeet, Palmetto Peartree Preserve, the Great Dismal Swamp, and historic towns like Plymouth, Edenton, and Elizabeth City. Canoeing, kayaking, fishing, boating, swimming and just plain relaxing are some of your many options. Parasailing, hang gliding, golf, too, are close by on the Outer Banks. Or visit historic Roanoke Island and Manteo, and the Roanoke Island Festival Park, the Lost Colony play, and the North Carolina Aquarium.
