My Historic Cottage held our family's summer vacation for over 70 years. It was build in the early 1890s for grape-packing and shipping from Lodi Point to the fresh fruit market in New York City on the successful Barge Canal. Converted after the turn of the 19th century to a cottage, it has remained unchanged except for the addition of its indoor bathroom, large back deck, kitchen stove and large refridgerator. Private 300 foot beach, swimming, boating, hiking, beach chairs, fire pit, biking trails, shopping, museums, wineries, local Amish food markets, books, cable TV, porch rocking chairs, herb garden on beach. Surrounding feelings of serenity and peace.
