This remodeled, 100 year old home is nestled beneath large, mature trees just 70 feet from the pristine lake. It was once the dining hall for a fruit farm surrounding the lake.
Although shaded during the hottest periods of the day, the Southern exposure provides immaculate sun rises and sunsets. The mile long lake surface is frequently “like glass” during these events.
The swimming is superb. The sandy lake bed is only 3 ˝ feet deep 100 feet from shore but, it drops off rapidly from there. The lake contains large populations of blue gill, sun fish, bass and perch and power boat wakes are allowed from 11:00AM until 7:30PM daily.
The living and dining rooms combine to offer large lakefront windows across the entire width of the house. The furnishings are an eclectic mix of styles and the beds include twin bunk beds, two full, two twins and a queen sofa bed. There is ample dresser and closet space for your belongings. The kitchen features a large butcher block work surface.
The house sits on a double lot and is attached to a 1 BR 1BA unit that has its own water heater, plumbing, garage, patio and yard space. Although attached via a laundry room/breezeway, both sides are very private. The smaller unit generally rents to couples and small families.
The neighbors are long-term, year-around residents “without fences”. There are many school aged children living in the neighborhood.

The house is located approximately 4 miles from Interstate 94 is is pretty much equidistant from both exits 56 and 60. The terrain is gently rolling hills with many vineyards and fruit farms.
There are a lot of things to do in the area but most guests tend to merely "hang out" at the lake. There is a public landing on the other side of the lake for boat launching. |

It has central heat, just in case.
