Lovely cottage. Recommend great accommodation great food and small friendly community. We would love to come back one day in the near future and stay in the wonderful cottage.Thank you so much...........
A lovely, warm and comfortable cottage superbly equipped with everything you could possibly want and furnished to a very high standard. It has been imaginatively and tastefully converted into a super holiday home. Probably the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. Great attention to detail and personal kindness from the owners made for a wonderful holiday for all the family. Great base to explore the mainland as the frequent ferry service only takes 25 minutes in a picturesque crossing. Five minutes from the cottage and the only sounds are the wind, the sea and the birds. Perfect tranquillity yet plenty to do exploring the shores...........
A really lovely, well equipped , cosy place to stay - the basket of local fare was a nice touch - & introduced us to the world of Orkney biscuits..Using local goods (shower gel to ceramics) and eco-friendly products is brilliant too...........
Amazing time at Peedie Whites.
Just thought I'd make a quick entry here having just coming back from an amazing week in Orkney. Having stayed here at Peedie Whites on Shapinsay I can't recommend it enough! A clean, modern and thoroughly well kitted out cottage, it was a great place to relax after a day of exploration. Whilst we had a great time touring the mainland and other islands over the week, the highlight each day was to sail back over to Shapinsay and walk down the tiny street to our little cottage. It felt like home! Very sad to leave..........
Overall highly enjoyable. Clean, well-decorated, wells stocked to cook. Very thoughtfully done. Good job! We will recommend you to our friends...........
Tranquil, quiet, picturesque. People very friendly & helpful. Complete escapism.......... |
