Caberfeidh is a south facing Edwardian house, only 50 yards from the beach. The house enjoys stunning views across Gairloch bay to the Isle of Skye and the Torridon mountains. It provides comfortable, homely accommodation for 8 persons plus a baby.
It is situated in the centre of the village and close to all the amenities. Local attractions include golf, walking and climbing, sea and loch fishing, ponytrekking and there are some glorious beaches close by. The owner runs whale watching cruises which are highly recommended.
A south facing sun porch, with cane seating, leads into the cottage. The porch overlooks the sea and has magnificent views of the Torridon mountains, Gairloch beach and the sea with the Isle of Skye behind. There is a pleasant lounge with comfortable leather settees and a widescreen TV with Sky Sports and a DVD player, also a hi-fi unit. The lounge has a multi-fuel stove for those cold evenings. There is a large separate dining room with patio doors leading out to the front garden. The kitchen is very generously sized, and has a large gas hob and electric oven, fridge freezer and microwave and a breakfast bar. A hallway leads to a separate WC with wash hand basin, a separate walk in shower room and a further small bedroom with bunk beds (but no window). A washing machine and dryer are located in the hallway.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, both with a double and a single bed. Both have sea views and a TV with Sky (Freeview). There is a bathroom with bath with overhead electric shower, WC and wash hand basin. A cot and high chair are available.
Double glazed and centrally heated throughout.
Outside is a fenced in grassed garden and ample parking space.

| After leaving Inverness, take the A832 to Gairloch. On entering the village, pass the harbour and golf course on your left and the Gairloch Hotel on the right, take the first (and only) turn opposite the Mace shop. Caberfeidh is on your right, immediately after the school, but before the left turn into Low Road. The parking area is before the cottage adjacent to Caberfeidh. |
