Casa Albayzin is an authentic town house in the old centre of Otura. In spite of the thorough modernization it has undergone, the spirit of the original dwellings is still palpable. The name Casa Albayzin has been derived from the street where it lies, which has that very name and that allows you to easily imagine residing in the famous Moorish quarter in Granada.
The house has a 35 m2 patio with full privacy. A comfortable and spacious living room, modern kitchen (fridge / freezer / washing machine / microwave). The first floor has two bedrooms, a large open space with sofa bed and a luxury shower.The house is heated with storage heaters and has a wood stove.
The village of Otura has excellent connections (car and public transport) to the city of Granada (12 min), Sierra Nevada ski resort (35 min) and Costa Tropical (35 min.). The surroundings offer a plethora of possibilities for hiking, biking, cultural activities, horse riding, etc. |

Otura is a small, authentic Andalucian village which has retained much of its original ambiance. In spite of that it offers plenty of facilities such as supermarkets, bakery shops, butchers, several banks with ATM, medical centre and all kinds of shops.
The village lies at some 9 miles from the world famous city of Granada, with the fascinating Alhambra and the old Moorish quarter, Albayzin. The fact that it lies in the foothills of Sierra Nevada makes the beauiful surroundings an attractive place for practising serious sports or recreational activities. The excellent connections and central location allow you to make lots of enjoyable trips, e.g. to the Alpujarras, Costa Tropical, Córdoba, the Badlands of Guadix etc. |

The house has two floors. The lower floor gives access to a 300 sq. foot patio which is surrounded by walls and will therefore warrant perfect privacy. Apart from that, the lower floor offers the following:
* Spacious living room with dining table, settee for two, 2 comfortable chairs, TV / DVD, stereo equipment (MP3 CD) and balcony doors opening to the patio (of course with garden furniture and barbecue).
New. In October we installed a wood stove as well as central heating. Casa Albayzin will therefore be a nice place to stay even in the winter.
* Well sized kitchen with washing machine, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, gas stove with 4 burners, extractor.
* Hall with toilet and stairs to 1st floor.
The first floor consists of:
* Open space with sofa bed. This space also makes for an excellent room where children can play.
* Bedroom with 2 single beds and open wardrobe.
* Bedroom with double bed and built in closet.
* Bathroom with shower cabin, toilet, wash bassin, bidet. |
