Our guesthouse is located in a very peaceful setting of the village Ganna.
Ganna lies at the western foot of the Bakony mountains, 13 km from of Pápa, the town notable for its Spa.
Built almost hundred years ago, this is an authenthic village house with a patio and wooden ceiling.The house went through several renovations during its history among which the latest was aimed to preserve as much as possible from the original structure and materials, but meanwhile providing the comfort and facilities of the present age.
The house is surrounded by a 2000 sqm garden which is mainly grass-covered with some plum-, cherry-, apple-, and pear trees in the back as well as a huge walnut tree. Behind the estate on the hilly meadow, horses meander and somewhat further the brook named Bittva wimples.
The cottage got its name from the old pear tree which stands before the kitchen entrance which is a gem of the garden.
Most notable among of the many sights in the vicinity are the Mausoleum of the noble Eszterházy family in Ganna, and the castle ruins of Szarvaskő(Deer-rock) which is whithin walking distance. |

The Cottage
The cottage includes two separate building parts (the old cottage with patio + a stylish apartman), which are adjoined by a covered terrace, open towards the garden.
Number of beds are 11 in total, but extra beds can be arranged on demand, and there are two child beds available if necessary.
The cottage is open the whole year.

Old Cottage: 6 adults + additional bed + childbed on request
2x2 sleep bedrooms, a 2 sleep living room, vestibule, kitchen, dining room, bathroom with shower, WC.
The dinig room is connected to the terrace with a two winged glass door.
Well equiped kitchen:refridgerator, oven, cooktop, microwave, electric kettle, dishware, cutlery
Apartman: 4 adults + childbed on request
A separate entrance of the cottage leads to this high ceiling studio
Sleeps: 2 beds on the gallery, 2 beds in the lower part of the apartman, and a childbed can be provided on request
Well equiped kitchen: refridgerator, cooktop, microwave, electric kettle, dishware, cutlery
Bathroom with shower, WC, vestibule
Terrace:
The most pleasant place to stay during the day is the 30 sqm terrace which was originally a barn, and which faces the big grassy garden.
There is a grill fireplace on the terrace.
Garden:
The house is surrounded by a large grassy garden in which we preserved the old wooden sty (pig-house) and maize-barn. In the back a few plum-, cherry-, apple-, and pear trees as well as a huge walnut tree
An interesting feature of the garden is that its back half is steepy, so in the winter kids can sleigh or bob on it. Behind the garden there is an open hummocky meadow which is ideal for pleasant strolls

- Bed-linnen, a towel for each guest, wash liquids, soap
- For small children: child beds (2), high feeding chair, baby tub, inflatable pool - UPON REQUEST !
- Ping-pong table, badminton - UPON REQUEST!

- Pets (dogs, cats) can be brought, but can only stay in the garden !
