La Maison du Gardien has 2 bedrooms - twin beds in the downstairs bedroom and a double bed upstairs. The upstairs bedroom is large and an additional single bed can be provided if required. Of course all bed linen is supplied and the beds are made up ready for your arrival.
The large lounge is fully furnished with a comfortable sofa and easy chairs, a combined TV and DVD player (the TV receives the main British channels), a CD player (but please bring your own CD's)and a range of books and board games.
The kitchen and dining room are connected by an archway, the dining room has a pine dresser, table and chairs and stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom.
The kitchen is very well equipped with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster etc.
The shower room has a thermostatically controlled shower, wash basin with vanity unit and also houses the washing machine. There is a separate WC. We have an extensive range of baby equipment which can be provided if required.
The house is set in the middle of a village in the north of Poitou Charentes and is ideally situated for the chateaux of the Loire Valley, Pescalis (the largest man-made fishing complex in Europe), Futuroscope and yet is within reach for a day out on the sandy beaches of the western coast. |
