‘Belle Vue’ on the edge of the picturesque village of Puyravault is a superb location for holidaymakers.
Situated just 15 miles from the magnificent old port of La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré, on Frances south west coast,and just 12 miles from south Vendées’ golden beaches. This is the heart of the national park ‘Marais Poitevin, yet is only 7 miles from the beautiful cathedral town of Luçon and close to the region known as the Venise Verte, (Green Venice).
Our micro-climate, in this one of the sunniest parts of France, makes off season holidays most attractive. |

This is our newest cottage and sleeps up to six people. It has a beautiful light and airy living area with exposed stone walls and oak beams, part of the original farm building. Its fully fitted kitchen area has a large range of units, gas cooker, microwave oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, plus electric kettle, toaster and cafetiere. There is a downstairs double bedroom with en-suite washroom and toilet. The luxury shower room is also on the ground floor. Upstairs is a second double bedroom and a large twin bedroom, both with stone walls and exposed beams.
The whole cottage is double glazed and insulated, fridge freezer, washing machine TV, DVD and CD player with electric heating, making it also suitable for winter holidays. |

Food is always of great importance here in France, and there are an enormous number of restaurants to choose from in the local towns and villages.
If however you prefer to eat in but don't want to have to cook every night, we keep a selection of tasty, home-made, frozen dishes for our guests. You may particularly like to eat in on your day of arrival, and if you let us know in advance, we can have something ready prepared for you when you get here. |
