Our three beautiful, well-equipped gites are set in 12 acres of idyllic countryside in Lot-et-Garonne, South West France. In the grounds is a 10.5m x 5.5m pool with mini pool and waterfall.
Our gites have all been carefully restored to leave many original features including beams and exposed stonework. All are well-equipped with washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave, and all have their own private terrace with barbecue. For entertainment, there is a supply of family games in each gite and all have TV with BBC channels.
This is a beautiful area with gently rolling hills. In spring the area is covered in fruit blossom and in summer the fields are breathtaking with acres of sunflowers.
Golf and horse riding are close by, and there are several leisure lakes with 'beaches'. This is a wonderful area for walking and nature-lovers. For children there is the Parc Walibi theme park in Agen, an adventure park with aerial walkways set in woodland close to Fumel and a small water park near Valence d'Agen. There are numerous water sports on the Lot and Dordogne rivers or if you would rather watch than participate there are boats for hire in Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Moissac, or canal/river trips from Agen or Nerac.
We guarantee you will receive a warm welcome at Faysselle. Many of our guests return time and again and one couple loved it so much they asked if we could organise their wedding here! We have lived here for seven years and like to feel that are visitors return not as 'guests' but as 'friends'. |

We are approximately 30 minutes east from the centre of Agen, which is roughly midway between Bordeaux and Toulouse on the A62 motorway.
Our closest airports are Toulouse (1 1/4 hours away) and Bergerac (1 1/2 hrs) and both Bordeaux and Carcassonne are only 2 hours away. We are 600 miles from Calais and 450 miles from Caen by road.

Grand Soleil is adjacent to the pool and is ideal family accommodation for those wishing to watch the children whilst relaxing around their own gite.
Downstairs comprises a well-equipped kitchen with microwave, cooker, washing machine and large fridge/freezer, a shower/wc and a living/dining room with ample seating for everybody for both relaxing and dining. A variety of family games is provided, along with TV (including BBC channels) and a DVD player.
The living rooms leads onto the terrace with outdoor eating area and barbecue. For those with younger children, the living room access direct to the pool is via a stable door so the bottom half can be closed whilst still allowing fresh air. There is a second entrance via the kitchen. Tiled floors throughout keep the rooms cool.
Grand Soleil is one of our three gites, which sleeps 6 people (7 possible on request).
Upstairs are three bedrooms. The double room has french windows (protected) and views towards fields and an 11th Century church. The double and triple rooms both look over the pool. There is a bathroom with bath/shower and wc. |

Guestbook: My wife and I have spent 3 most enjoyable holidays at Faysselle. From the very moment we first arrived, Tom & Judy made us so welcome and they ensured that we could get down to the serious business of resting and relaxing. The Gites are in a very quiet location with nice views and there is plenty of places to explore. The 12 acres of Faysselle also provides for restful gentle walks.
The Gites are very comfortable and well equipped and the pool is especially good. The only interruptions come from 3 of the most gorgeous golden retrievers you could ever come across.
Overall I would say that after spending many holidays in France, Tom and Judy offer the best of facilities much enhanced by their genuine hospitality.
