The majority of some of the finest championship golf courses are found in this region, attracting golfers all year round. There are riding stables, tennis courts, jet skiing, micro-light flying and many water sport activities available close by in Lagos. The crime rate is very low in the Algarve and the resort is patrolled by 24 hour security and CCTV cameras to give you added peace of mind. Jardim Da Meia Praia's sister resort the fabulous Estrela Da Luz in Luz is only a 15 minute drive away.

| A weekly maid service is available. Towels and bed linen are changed weekly. You will have to provide your own beach towels. The reception area offers broadband internet access and a regular coach service is available to take you to the beach, Lagos or Luz Town Centre and also return travel. Although I have ticked unsuitable for the elderly, this only refers to those with walking difficulties as there are steps upto the 2nd floor apartment and bridges over the streams, so it may be slightly difficult for them. There is under floor heating, however, this is only required in the winter months. There are gardens throughout the whole complex and also it is a lovely area for quiet strolls and a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is full digital TV but not the complete sky service, however, there is a place for a sky card to be inserted if you so wish as it is connected to a satellite receiver. The entrance to the resort is accessible by remote control security gates. |
