Delfinario Located in the Punta Hicacos Park children of all ages and even a few adults will love their experience here. 8 trained dolphins perform daily and refreshments are available. Horses can be hired here to trot around the park.

Marina Chapelin Lovely place to just stroll and view the boats or maybe take a trip on one. A good place to rent a fishing boat and teach the kids to fish for their supper, sail a catamaran. Or just take a water bike out.

Varadero Beach The perfect beach for youngsters as the swimming is very safe, plenty of coral to explore with a snorkel and watersports by the hotels. The soft sand and warm water will tire them out and you can enjoy a quiet night.

French cuisine is served here in the most elegant atmosphere; stunning sea views and lovely old original furniture complete this picture.

La Casa de Al This villa on Calle 1 used to belong to Al Capone and is so named. Paella is the specialty here, but the meat and seafood is also worthwhile.

Discoteca La Bamba This well established Disco is fast becoming an institution in these parts located in the Hotel Tuxpan. Dance the night away with a good variety of sounds. Salsa rules, but doesn't dominate. There is a twilight session with cheaper drinksÂ….enjoy.

Ruinas de Matasiete This is a special venue and not to be missed for the night owl, set in a 17th century Spanish fort this disco buzzes with it's own atmosphere, a good bar serving a variety of beverages makes for a memorable night.

Arboleda This tiny little nightspot is unique to the town as it's about the only place that accepts local currency as well as Dollars, and one gets a real taste for Cuban life. Mix with the locals here, mix with the live band and enjoy a traditional experience. It's a restaurant and bar by day.
