Lights OUT!!!!
We rented a cottage. They told us that the only thing we had to bring were towels. However, they really didnt have dishes or proper cookware. The grill was old and you needed a lighter to light it and hopefully you could move fast enough so your eye brows didnt catch on fire. The fire pits were extremely small. The pool was nice; however it cut the bottoms of your feet when you walked. The guidelines contradicted themselves. The rules stated that music could be played until midnight, however at 10:00 p.m. quiet time begins. We had to turn down the radio so low that it might as well have been turned off. My son was sitting by the fire playing his portable play station and he had to turn that off, because it was too loud. (Are you kidding me)!!! They say that they want you to feel welcome, however there are a lot of regulars who keep their motor homes there all year long and they do not want anyone to disturb them. We left a day early because I couldnt take it anymore...Read more

Stayed for my grand kids
The campsites were small and on a incline. The fire pits are really small and in the middle of the campsites where the tent should go. The rules listed in their guidelines are not followed. For instance, it says music must be turned off at midnight. They made us turn off a low playing radio off and a TV inside a tent at 10:00. The campers next to us said they never heard it. I would probably guess that a seasonal camper did not appreciate someone else having fun they watch us and said we did thing you wouldn't believe like using drugs, child abuse,& cursing. The pool looks nice, but the floor and sides cut into your skin so the kids only use it once they didn't want more cuts. The last straw came at the end of the last night when my son was reading his book for a test at school by the fire pit that was smoldering, and a employee came with a bucket of water and put it out.

Would have left, but stayed for kids
The campsites were small and we were assigned a site on an incline. The fire pits are really small. The rules listed in their guidelines are not followed. For instance, it says music must be turned off at midnight. They made us turn off a low playing radio off and a TV inside a tent at 10:00. The campers next to us said they never heard it. We were also accused of child abuse (I think I spanked my daughter once for playing on the road- is that abuse?), cursing, using drugs, playing outdoor games too loud, and a bunch of other stuff. I would probably guess that a seasonal camper did not appreciate someone else having fun. The pool looks nice, but the floor and sides will cut into your skin. The last straw came at the end when we were packing up and leaving. An employee came to take the fire wood at the next campsite right after they (family members) left, but we had agreed to give it to another family member camping another night there. More rules should have been enfored for...Read more
