| Bad Camping Tent Sites |
|
We ask for a DRY and QUIET camping site...
They gave us a pretty looking site. But, the Tents sites are so HUMID. There is that bad humidity smell everywhere. And it is very hard to get that smell out of your tent, trust me.
Also, they only take cash, no credit card and no reservation by phone, only by mail, can you beleive this??? Hey, we are in 2006!
This is not a pretty good camping site for Tents. Very humid, full of mosquitos(when I say full, I mean plenty!)
We asked to have another site for the night. But the clerk refuse, stating that everything was reserved. When we woke up the next morning, there was nobody around on the other sites...what a liar...
The only good thing I can tell is the shower. They were clean and modern. Still one complaint,no soap in the restroom...this is weird.
In conclusion, I will never go back there. Lack of service, too much humdity(the earth is wet), mosquitos, and no credit card.

| A Garden of Eden in the middle of Provincetown |
|
Just about Twenty five years ago I started camping at Coastal Acres Camping Court. The first few years were in a tent. The next few in a "Pop-Up". The most recent, in our 30 ft RV. This is the FINEST Campground to be found ANYWHERE! You are treated like FAMILY by the entire staff. The "Queen" of the Campground is Germania, who with her beloved husband "Manny" started this wonderful campground. She has been joined by the 2nd AND 3rd generation of her family and it is a JOY to spend most of my Summer under the Pine Trees on our wooded site! An easy walk from your campsite to downtown and only minutes to the Beach. It is so lovely at the Campground with its "Country Store" on the premises, immaculate grounds, and friendly campers and staff, that I am often quite content to stay "home" and leave the hustle and bustle of downtown to the "tourists". Get up in the morning, have a coffee with your neighbors, hit the beach or go shopping, come back and take a nap, get dressed and head to town f... Read more |
