I am sad to report that Watermouth has taken a turn for the worst. During my stay we had no water at one point and nothing seemed to be done in a great hurry. Children’s meals had been stopped as I know from previous years they did cater for children so I was stumped when I discovered this, especially being a family orientated campsite or apparently so.
The views of course are fantastic and there is a bar a couple of minutes walk up the road that happily welcome children.
It is a shame that Watermouth cove is suffering as this location is perfect, set in between Combe Martin and Ilfracome and a short walk to the flower pot man village of Berrynarbor.
