Don't stay here!!
While we were in Amsterdam, one of my friends who has a health problem had a really bad attack while we were in this camp and the people in the camp were not helpful at all. We asked them to call an ambulance but they didn't. The man who claimed to be the owner of the camp told as that he'd throw us out if she screams again, and eventually we had to go out and lay our friend on the street in the middle of the night. If something happens to you during your stay in this camp, the staff and owner will not hesitate to throw you out!! I would stronly recommend you not to stay here.

Chilled out at Camping Zeeburg
I can highly recommend this campsite, close to the city centre (15 mins tram 14)also you can hire bikes and venture out to the countryside which is close by. One plus point is that the site has built a new wc/shower block, a big improvement to the old one. If you are worried about your valuables, the reception have safes that you have to pay a €20 deposit, which you get back. You can also by transport tickets (Strippenkaart) to use on the trams, buses and the metro. Word of advise buy the day tickets (Dagkaartje). They work out cheaper and the strippenkart are way to confusing. Even the dutch have trouble using them. I have stayed on this site 7 times, but only ate once in the bar. Personally I didn't think much of the food, preferring to eat elsewhere. A couple of negative points are that there is now no smoking in the cabins/bar area. So if like me you like to smoke you'd be advised to camp it out in a tent, also there tends to be a lot of mosquitos around the campsite, so be prepare... Read more

Dramatic Stay
We stayed here in July 2007 and when it is raining, the campsite is not that pretty! Anyways while we were there a young guy who had too much alocohol to drink and -from what we read later in the newspapers- had smoked weed & done paddos. This guy (from Denmark) completely lost it and started to drive irratically over the campsite nearly missing people & many, many tents (where children were sleeping). Staff did nothing and it was quite scary. We packed the next day and booked ourselves a nice hotel. We do not advise you to go here. Apart from this scary expereince I could tell a whole lot more what is not ok at this campsite.

Clubbing Zeeburg!
Camping Zeeburg is designed for groups of young adults/teenagers touring europe that have just popped in to amsterdam to taste and experience the dutch culture!... a group of fourteen guys traveled with me to this campsite and we all said we would prefer to sit in the campsite all day rather than go into town, the campsite has everything from beer to music. the shop is fully equiped delivering fresh bread all day long as well as the bar/restraunt on site which means you can chill out with a hot dog and a pint of heiniken!.. the staff are really friendly and they r always up for a party after their shift.. this is a partying campsite although everyone is chilled out and can be quiet round the family areas late at night.. we stayed for ten days in this campsite in the blistering sun and we would do it again now.. it was fantastic!
